Working at MAYA Design, Inc.

The StoryCorps mobile app, with complementary website, expands the organization’s reach globally to capture and share the wisdom and experiences of humanity— saved for generations to come. With approximately 10 weeks to deliver a beta version, the MAYA and StoryCorps teams worked side-by-side to gather insight, test with users and iterate quickly.

maya.com I was brought onto this project to add animation and a time-based design language to the App but rapidly became a core member of the front end development team.


Because I am a visual designer who can program, I was also able to tweak and add details from the final design directly to the production code.

This beta version of the StoryCorps app launched in front of an international audience at the annual TED Conference.
