"MAYA designed and developed a series of rich, stand-out experiences—from concept to finished product—that got festival-goers thinking about the future of digital"

As part of Pepsico Central Station for SXSW, MAYA Design envisioned and fabricated the 'Bitbooth', designed as a way of creating engagement for soliciting content and feedback from the crowd.
Aside from creating all the 3D and video assets, I created the interfaces, and designed the entire setup in Unity as a realtime multiplayer game. Each of the screens was represented in the game as a camera looking into the same multiplayer scene from different players' computers, as the booth had 14 screens and utilized 6 computers to run it.
I created a server and shared all necessary data objects so everything was in sync.

Here are some screen grabs from the integrated selfie cam. These shots could then be posted back to the Zeitgeist wall or were available as a gallery online.
A small sample of the experience.
The booth had touchscreens inside and presented the users with instructions on the phone (which rang as soon as someone opened the door) and entertainingly presented survey questions on the walls.
At times, the booth would take the visitors for a virtual 'flight through the air' like Willie Wonka's Glass Elevator.
The end result was a line to enter the booth that went around the corner, all to answer some simple survey questions they would have had no time for if asked by this guy.
